Bienvenue Art

In 2022, Intervalle is participating in Bienvenue, an event that transforms Parisian hotel rooms into temporary exhibition spaces. In Room 21 of the Hôtel La Louisiane, the gallery has created a presentation where the artworks are displayed in a domestic setting, far removed from the conventions of the white cube.

This experience allows Intervalle to juxtapose its artists’ photographs with an existing architectural setting and atmosphere, creating a more intimate and immediate connection to the works. The room thus becomes an exhibition space in its own right, where photography engages with the history and functions of the place.
