Unseen

In September 2018, Galerie Intervalle participated for the first time in Unseen Amsterdam, one of the leading international events for contemporary photography, which was held at the Westergasfabriek. From September 21 to 23, the gallery presented three artists from its roster: Julien Mauve, Elsa Leydier, and Julien Mignot.
This selection reflects the identity that Intervalle has upheld since its early years: championing contemporary photography that is open to new narrative forms and experimentation with the medium, while supporting emerging artists on the international scene. For Unseen, the gallery brings together three distinctive approaches, each of which, in its own way, explores our relationship to the world, to the landscape, and to new forms of representation. This participation thus establishes Intervalle within the international network of galleries that are helping to bring forth a new generation of photographers.
