Galeristes

Intervalle’s participation in Galeristes, held November 30–December 2, 2018, at the Carreau du Temple, marked an important milestone in the gallery’s development, four years after its founding. At a fair designed to foster direct encounters between galleries, artists, and collectors, Intervalle reaffirms an identity that is already clearly defined: championing challenging contemporary photography that is open to fiction, the intimate, and new forms of storytelling.

The booth features Julien Mauve, Julien Mignot, and Marta Zgierska, three artists whose practices, though very different, share a common focus on personal experience and the construction of narrative through images. This presentation allows Intervalle to give broader visibility to its programming and to solidify its place in the Parisian contemporary photography scene.

The press has particularly highlighted Julien Mignot’s “smoky Fresson prints,” attesting to the uniqueness of the gallery’s curatorial vision. Galeristes 2018 thus marks not so much a break as a phase of consolidation: that of a young gallery asserting its artistic direction while developing its relationship with collectors.
