Galeristes

From October 17 to 20, 2019, Galerie Intervalle will participate in the fourth edition of Galeristes at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. Founded in 2016, the fair focuses on fostering direct encounters between galleries, artists, collectors, and the public. The 2019 edition notably introduces a new section dedicated to French art.

For this edition, Intervalle is presenting four artists from its roster: Olivier Degorce, Julien Mauve, Julien Mignot, and Marta Zgierska. This selection brings together diverse artistic practices, ranging from documentary photography and personal narrative to experiments with staging and the body. Julien Mignot, who has been represented by the gallery since 2017, continues his personal work centered on Screenlove. Marta Zgierska, for her part, presents a body of work dedicated to the body and its transformations.

This participation comes one year after Intervalle’s first appearance at Galeristes in 2018 and the year it joined the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA). It reflects the gallery’s gradual establishment within the landscape of Parisian art fairs dedicated to contemporary art.
