Il photographie des objets aux teintes vives qui, tout en imitant la nature, jouent sur l’illusion. Ses œuvres mettent en avant l’artifice de ces créations conçues pour tromper, comme les néons en forme de toiles d’araignées qu’il capture dans les rues commerçantes du Japon, suspendus dans les arbres ou illuminant les vitrines.
